LAKSHMI/abundance PUJA for diwali

This year Diwali, the festival of lights, falls on Sun. Nov. 8th. We’ll be preparing the energy with a Lakshmi Abundance Puja on Tues. Nov. 3rd.

Diwali is the Hindu five-day festival of light. The name means “row of lights”. The holiday celebrates the triumph of light over darkness at the beginning of a new year. The central idea is plain: where there is light, there is no space for darkness. Light is therefore the heart of the festival, and small clay lamps called diyas are lit to illuminate the home and to invite Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity, into one’s life for the year ahead.

We’ll offer the light to Lakshmi for abundance and prosperity!
